The league stage of the racketball tournament ends this Saturday. Please make sure that you enter the points from your remaining games by the final deadline, which is 11 pm on 10 March. Even though the league will still be visible on the website after that time and until I put up the next league, results submitted after the deadline won't count.
The finals are in the afternoon of Sunday 18 March starting at 2 pm. If the results so far suggest that you have a chance of getting into the finals but you know that you will not be available then, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can pass your finals place to the player below you in the league. (One such player has, very kindly already told me that he won't be available.) I will circulate a message with the names of the finalists on Sunday 11 and ask them all to confirm that they are free to take part in the finals. Please watch out for this message and respond promptly.
I will post the new racketball league once the finals have been played. By default I will enter everyone who has played at least one game in the current league so please let me know before then if you do NOT want to be included. My expectation is that the new league will have three boxes and will last six weeks but, of course, until I know for certain how many players there will be I can't be sure about this. If anyone knows someone who was not in the current league but would like to join the next one, please ask him/her to contact me.
